Once upon a time in ancient times on the top of the mountain Vallimägi crusaders of the Livonian Order erected a castle. It was one of the most powerful fortresses in Northern Estonia. It was said that its underground passages led up to the sea. Therefore kings and heads of many states wanted to subjugate it. Besides the castle walls were besieged by great troops. Its towers and rooms can tell us many stories... Do you want to be a part of its history? Welcome to 16th century medieval Disneyland! Here we are met by gate guards. We will get acquainted with the history of the Order, visit the chapel, armory, scientific chamber and astrological room. The bravest can visit a chamber of torture, hell and a crypt with "rotting" dead. The alchemist will teach us to make gunpowder, and archers - how to shoot. After such an exciting adventure on the way back you may choose from: walk by the forest lake, either come and admire the biggest waterfall, or get acquainted with the Linnamae hydro-electric power station, which is more than 90 years old.
